Should it not be Volunteers of the American Dream, Volunteers for and with the Vision of what America was built on, after the Native Americans were squashed, after too much of nature has been paved over, after the truth of this massive and expansive natural land has been hidden and ignored and devastated.

We are all now volunteers of the ideals of a great country, a place built upon personal accountability, on justice and truth and courage…John Wayne riding into the sunset…Andrew Carnegie’s philosophies of achievement…where a man, a woman, youth, old age, all can excel and transcend the doubts and limitations that are set by authorities and those who are myopic and not willing to step away from the pack.

I WOULD ENLIST YOU TODAY, to volunteer to recreate the ideals of this country, to believe you do not need government handouts, that you and your family and your commitment to hard work, and fueled passion, and obsessive desires to rise so far about what has been…that you become what is coming, that is still dreaming in your head.

Be a Volunteer of America, where you give and help and inspire and clean up the countryside, and clean up the minds of youth, of anyone, who have strayed away from the light.  Be the light. 

Who are you to let your youth be tainted and muted with psychotropic drugs because it is easy, because a 20 year old killed 27 (many little children) yesterday in a shooting in Connecticut?  How incredibly sick is this?

Be a volunteer for youth.  Do not think twice, think a hundred times, when they say, the authorities, the misled psychiatrists say to you, your child, your teenagers must be on these drugs.

Find better ways: buy a horse; buy a piece of land away from the city; take these crazy and confused youths to the native world, to the open spaces, the expanded plains, the roads that go on forever in Wyoming. 

Be a volunteer for right, for creating dreams, for inspiring those who are left with nothing but hatred and ugliness in their cold and lost hearts.

Become a volunteer for the American dream, where you and me and everyone with a heart that cares, with a dream in their head, can add to, help, give back, can learn and grow and change the world for better.

Who am I to fight against the mental/health system, the biggest oxymoron, since vacation Bible school? Who am I to say that most children do not, should not be enabled and disabled and turned into zombies with these obtuse and overkill psychotropic drugs, unless absolutely, and I mean absolutely needed, usually as-needed only?

Well just me, someone who has raised a child, now 24, who still is afflicted with schizophrenia.  I know some things about the ridiculous mental health system…sure there are caring people, but there is also so much misinformation, disinformation, and the ways most believe will help are still ideas that seem to be coming out of the dark ages.

Do not disable, or enable or limit yourself, your family, what you can give back to this great nation…a nation filled with entrepreneurs, dreamers, the Emerson’s and Thoreau’s and those who know that you still have opportunity in this country, and it is you alone that will create the life you choose.

I know a man, 40 years old, came to this country from Nepal in 1990, broke, no money, with nothing but belief in his heart. Right now, in 2012 he is a multimillionaire.  If he can do it, why not you, me the children?

Help a struggling youth. Think it over very carefully if you or someone you care about is given a diagnosis, a mental label, a disability that you can at least attempt to help them overcome.

There are seriously mentally ill people, that is a fact; but do you really need to put your child on Ritalin just because your child is exuberant and excited about life.  Isn’t that what children do, play, run, have fun? 

And what about this as an idea?  If you have a distraught and misled youth, shouldn’t you lock away your guns?

 Be a Volunteer for the American way of life, of achieving massive success through belief and thought and an absolute commitment to a burning desire and dream to have it all, to be and do and have whatever you will let your mind conceive and believe, right Napoleon Hill?

Be a Volunteer for Good, for success, for creating and realizing that you can help this great nation, not with fear and doubt, but with a vision of what can be. Talk about solutions, not complaining all the time about how bad everything is.

Let us all inspire others to live inspired and wholesome and wonderful lives…and if you see someone faltering and you can help, give back your vision and wisdom and strength, do this too…for some are truly lost, while most just need someone to care and give them hope and direction, not just throw Prosaic at them.

Believe again in your dreams, in the American dream, in the indomitable spirit of the people of this great nation that can maintain its greatness only with you, the visionaries, the truth seekers, those who will not accept the status quo, and will rise above and beyond the self-imposed limitations of the mind, and become the dream dreaming again, the mystery unfolding, the infinite intelligence that is always there whispering to the hearts and minds of those who will listen—to the ground…where buffalo still roam.
