Our Mother

Our Mother

Natives of this fine land had the connection to the earth, to what is supreme and powerful. When was the last time you sat in awe, when were you completely in wonder of a giant full moon climbing out of the darkness on a distant horizon? When was the last time (or first time) where you were slapped in the face with a truth that transcends Microsoft…far, far beyond your human contrived worlds, of high technology and fine dining and slurpies?

Awaken your mind to the seven generations of living, of folklore that indicates, of bees and trees and geese flocking in the autumn.  Feel the winds and the sunshine and touch the soil near a river as the sun slices up the afternoon skies into soft rains, double rainbows and clouds hiding the rest over a sunset…unmatched.

Even poetry, with its condensed and highest use of the language is but a fortress protecting the Earth’s magic behind a curtain of misunderstanding, not hitting the point…missing the gathering of bird and song sunlight and delight, mixed well over a mountainside of crashing beauty that an alarmed or unaware mind can but get a piece of it: A slice of summer pie, a wonder why, a cataclysmic confluence of something bigger than humanity, larger than life.

And yet this Mother takes care of all, infuses all, takes everything’s perplexity and wraps it up into unity, a balance and a reckoning between soft stirs and slight-falling-star blurs of realities that govern this world, this dark/light matter of a universe.

Sure, you can get a hint.  Sure you can say you get it.  Sure you can almost realize it…but the earth is the master, the convergence, the truth, the beauty, the higher source for you to dwell upon.

Take time to learn from this Mother-ness, this lawmaker, this perfection that cannot fail, cannot falter, can only adjust, and balance it all into a smear of quantum complexities—a simplicity that goes over most heads…for it is a realization that frees each and every soul.

See it, be it, become the dream showing up everywhere, in back alleys, in steep valleys, in the very moment you finally open your heart and mind to its complete relevance.
