What Have I learned So Far

What Have I learned So Far

Sleep good, have a great day.  I have figured out that there is nowhere to go, to get to, where the world, my world, life, will be better.  It is better right now, in this moment.  Life is not linear, for everything is happening right now, everywhere, all at once, a burgeoning up, rather than a historical recording.

Seems to me, after many moons, many winters, and beautiful springs, that it really is about being on fire, excited, inspired, while the rest may be the droning of old baggage in the head of my own antidotes, that I inject now and then.

I have learned that love and forgiveness are benchmarks on the journey; and that to care and give and smile and be a spark that can inspire all others to realize they have the world, this life, the cosmic mystery to be thankful for, and that there are so many incredible parts of life, my life, to be retrospective and grateful for.

I am learning each day that I have so much more to learn; and that the more I know, the more I somehow believe I have arrived, when the world, the outer world, the outside of who I am and what I know is vast, so vast, it almost seems imperceptible, to not even be there on the horizon of my wisdom that I cannot see growing.

I know myself, and am content with who I am.  And see that many are not, and that seems the main wall in front of their blissful enjoyment of this bewilderment.

I am learning that there is a magical connection between being inspired, feeling great, and this higher energy to create, where creativity and creating dreams go hand-in-hand. I can really watch and make what I want to see appear in my life, watch it actual take root and grow bean stocks up into the so-called fairytales of cosmic consciousness that are so very real.

So these are some of my favorite quotes that explain it better than I can.  “Intense love does not measure, it just gives.”—Mother Teresa. “It is not what one has, but what one enjoys, that constitutes an abundance.”—Ben Franklin.  “The journey is the reward.”—Zen Aphorism.  “The road is better than the Inn.”—Cervantes.  “If you don’t enjoy now, you ain’t gonna enjoy then.”—Joe Peanuts, Dang Near Cowboy Poet.  “Leap and the net will appear.”—Les Brown.  “Risk is jumping off a cliff and building your wings on the way down.”—Ray Bradbury.  “You don’t regret the things you do if life, but the things you do not do.”  “Have fun, misery is optional.”  “It is not that we have to make sure things turn out well, rather realize, all is well.”—Lao Tzu.

So, what have you learned and are your learning still? What incredible wisdom will you take with you as you aspire, as you talk with the little children and enjoy their never-ending glee?  What truths have you realized and use to live a spectacular and remarkable life?

What adventures will you let your rolling- out and unfolding life still entertain, shoot for, go for as the perfect sunlight warms your heart? Have you found out how to be in bliss, give up your cynicism, your cantankerous habits and curmudgeon old-age limiting patterns?  “Cynicism is a great philosophy as long as you really don’t believe in it.” –Greg Petri.

Life seems to me a spiraling up to the light. So I strive to be the light, be the inspiration for first and foremost myself, and then family, friends and those who somehow have lost their ways on the magnificent journey to give, love, serve and enjoy the moment-to-moment surprises that are surely coming my way.
