What Is It That I Don’t Know?

What Is It That I Don’t Know?

Do you ever ask this question of yourself?  Do you ever wonder, use this as an exercise to expand the day-to-day thoughts, the normal meanderings of the mind?

I don’t know how to make a 100 million dollars in a month…I know people who know people who do…but I want to know how to do this, don’t I?

I don’t know what it would really looks like to be on Jupiter and see all their moons; in fact, I am not even sure how many moons there are, what maybe 30 or more moons?

I don’t know what a sunset on Jupiter would be like, how long it lasts, how big does the sun look from way out there?

I don’t know how to pick up women in a bar anymore, or why I would want to, or leave the right tip if they already put a gratuity on the bill… should I leave more on a $5.00 beer than an 83 cent gratuity they added?

I don’t know if there really is something called dark matter.  And if there is, what it is…can you touch it…is it too dark to see with the naked eye?  What if I had a powerful telescope?  Could I see it then? What are my chances of seeing an alien ship darting across the night sky too?

Do fish drink water?  Do birds get tired when they fly?  How long does it take a flock of geese to run out of steam and land on a pond?  And how long do they have to stay on ground until rested?  And who, (do even call a goose a who?) actually which one decides to take off again and soar the skies?

Where do all the dragonflies and bees and ladybugs go in the winter?

I don’t know how to get my blogs out to 1,000 of new people a week, or maybe I do, but do I need a better push over the edge? Who will push me over the edge….when will I decide it is important enough to “jump off a cliff and build my wings on the way down?”—and who said this Ray?

Was Lincoln a bad or a good guy?  Is it true that 800,000 men were killed in our civil war?  Is it true that Lincoln illegally ignored the constitution?  Is it true it took the south over 100 years to recover?  Just asking.

Cosmically, do you know (I sure don’t know) if every galaxy has a giant black hole sucking in everything, keeping parsecs of stuff I don’t know about, haven’t yet imagined, like quasars, and asteroids …spinning toward the center.

In fact, seriously, how many galaxies are there out there, and is the “out there” expanding or contracting?

Why can I see the light of stars billions of years away that don’t even exist anymore?  This just can’t be right, can it?

Why is the United States Government so huge?  Why does it employ so many people?  Why was I at a Fourth of July event celebrating Independence Day and they were giving away little plastic, somewhat distorted, not well printed, American flags that were made in China?

Why are the so famous, so sought after America Girl Dolls made in China?  Where do you draw the line of sacrilege?  Is there a line?

How can I create at least 5,000 dollars of residual income every week…or at least, how long do I really want this to take?

Is it really true you cannot get a cold from not wearing a jacket, or getting too frozen on the side of a mountain with no coat on…after a great day of skiing?

What are better, more relevant, more inspiring questions to ask?

Is planet earth a spiritual boot camp?

Are you limited by your own mind, routines, ruts, doing the same things over and over?  Have you ever tried to answer a rhetorical question?

How can I change faster?  Do I even want to?  Or do I just want to be aware of how powerful I really am?

If I want things to change in my life, is it absolutely true, I need to change the things in my life?

How can I raise my credit scores faster, and how high can they go?  How can I get an invention on infomercials?  Do infomercials work for the Chinese, French and Siberians?

The questions we ask are perhaps more important than the answers we find, is this true?  Is my life a game, or is life a meaningful pursuit of truth and wisdom?

What is it that I truly love to do and can I use this inner passion to make a difference, to inspire up coming generations?

And should we, do you, why does most everyone have a label for the next generation, the last generation, your generation?  Are we not just people asking more profound questions of a universe, a cosmic comingling, that most barely and cursorily understand?

So what questions, what ways can you image more, reimage what you already so securely believe in?

What is your commitment to gathering in more, to learning more, to sense and realize and get superb insights that you do not even know are there?

What magic is afoot?  What realities await you?  What perplexities and bewilderment are you ignoring for an ice cream cone, for a TV show, for a mind-sucking video game?

Are you missing the fireworks, the extravaganza, the fiesta and festivals and feasts where the languid ladies smile and do the fandango?

What questions will you ask today to get you from here to there, from a state of normalcy to an infinite befuddlement?

“You don’t know what you don’t know….but you think you do.” – Les Brown.  How many well-known Les Brown’s are/were there anyway?

Since marijuana is now legal in Colorado, shouldn’t you just: “Leave your mind alone and just get high.”  Who said this anyway, Bro?
