“This Is The Best Day Ever!”

“This Is The Best Day Ever!”

This is a line that one of my very favorite people uses, most every day.  Isn’t this the perfect way to think, to enjoy, to see, to live?

Today, is and can be and should be the best day ever, because there is so much to enjoy, to do, to play…for everyday is another opportunity to live, to breathe in, to run the gamut, to see if you can have so much fun and intrigue that you become filled with pure and undulating and complete perfection.

Do you have children, or grand children or nieces or nephews that help you realize this, help you play, teach you the lessons of living a superb and meaningful and beautiful life?

The children are given to us, to the old guard, to remind us of the absolute joy of living, where play is more powerful than slaving away, where making it up as you go along is pure ecstasy on the pathways to peace and love and caring and living above the waterlines of this human experience.

One of the greatest motivators, public speakers, humorists recently died…you might have heard his name—Zig Ziglar.

If you have never seen one of his videos…go watch one, as his message was always one of optimism and having a positive attitude.  One of my favorite lines of Zig was when he was talking to someone and Zig asked this man how he was doing, and the man replied, “Ok I guess…under the circumstances.”

And Zig replied, “What are you doing under there anyway?”

What circumstances do you live under when you could, with a mere shift of mindset, belief-set, live above the waterline, in the sunshine, have the-best-day-ever mentality, because you, as does everyone on planet earth, as a God-given gift, to all of Mankind…you can live above and over those circumstances, beyond suffering and pain, and in the light of inspired optimism if you choose, if you will let yourself get out from under the circumstances that you believe nail you to the ground, keep you in pain, make your world seemingly difficult.

Sure life is filled with trials, but you know this better than anyone else, you can learn and grow from these trials and come out the other end with a smile, smelling like roses, in a dog-day afternoon, winning the game, and still believe that this is the best day ever.

Life is more about attitude than what you have, what you do, what you achieve.  Sure, we all want personal success, and this success comes much easier and faster, if we have a superior attitude, if we look for the good in every situation, if we always put the word temporary in front of the word failure, or the word temporary, in front of the word difficult or pain or strain or challenge or problem.

Solve the problems outside by creating the best day ever inside.  Life is really more of an inside game, an inner harmony, a peace within to capture and see and realize and be aware of the peace without.

“This is the best day ever,” is a quote exclaimed nearly every day by Amberose, my dearest little six year old.  When she says this, I think for moment and bring myself to believe it too.

Why not you believe it right now also…this perfect day, the best day ever!
