Don’t Wag Your Tail at 4a

Don’t Wag Your Tail at 4a

Remember that today is for absolute exploration, adoration—and sprinkle that with romance and prance, with rhyme and thyme, with pole dances and slice of rhubarb pie and you might find the silver lining in a golden dream, the end of the rainbow on the happenstance of your last really solid second chance.

Believe, and believe some more.  Try on a coat of arms and a diatribe of not doing harm; a charm in the spell cast dawn…for it is but a dream within a dream that we live each new day.

The other night, somehow, will not go into detail (usually locked downstairs in the kitchen) the dog jumped on the bed at 4a and wagged its tail till I woke up alarmed.

What ever happened to man’s best friend?  What will wake you up today, from the slumber of mediocrity, of what is possible beyond the scope of nope, of a wide opened mind that will forever breathe in the fresh morning air, after rain of the Spain planes, where the buffalo don’t roam, in the secret cottage of the gnomes, where the shy don’t look or venture out no more.

Who said you would end up with millions? Who said you couldn’t? Who let the cat out? Who are you taking your advice from? Who the hell rang the bell before recess was even over, rover?

Walk, run, dart, sprint out of the shadows of what you conceive. Run past the fear and doubt that is as illusory as death, Time, the 10,000 things that sport a new deal, a second coat, a snakeskin thin veneer of truth and reality that is about as negotiable as new technology on Star Trek from the 20th century.

Divine out the divine today and the rest will be song and bonfires and desires and bewilderment on the higher ground when the floods come, the rivers rise and the epiphanies slam you out of the bed at 4a because some dog-day morning woke you up before your time…into the sublime…and you stopped on a dime, to see all the way to the outskirts of eternity, parade around with the infinite intelligence that reminds us all…“I’ve got this ONE!”
