Imagine this: Here is a picture of a man and a woman, two amazingly happy, successful, dressed to the hilt, dressed to kill beautiful people in a long, brand new stretch limousine, and the caption under the picture is: “Driven.”
Now for the double entendre, the steeped meaning: They are driven by their passions, their attitudes of success and they have been able to achieve enough success to be driven around, and all of this is because they stretch, stretch what they personally let themselves believe, that they can achieve and they do, more than all the analogies, more than the fine car, the ideas behind the limo, the perfectly dressed, high-level people, guess what, more than anything: They are happy (in their stretch).
So this day, this momentous, recurring daily, above and beyond normal, ritual of living, stretch who you are, what you think, what you think you can do, what bliss and enjoyment you can feel and absorb. Stretch your ideas of what this life is all about, what it can be, what is possible, and delve into the impossible. Give yourself sacred permission to go farther out, to live on the edge of more incredulous options, new possibilities, new ways to conjugate a ride in a limo, to grow a dream, to enjoy your family, to live out the rest of this magical day, and do it again and again with resolve to get out of your own way, to get out of your safe harbors that limit what you can have, do and be, what you can experience along this stretch-life, infinite world, and grow larger than-life-as-you-know-it evolving stretch mentality.
Stretch your pocketbook, your bank account to let in more money. Stretch your abilities to attract the right people, circumstance and happenstance into your proverbially wonderful life.
One of the main purposes of the well-lived, well-imagined, well-examined life is to grow, grow the self, grow ideas of what is possible, grow bank accounts and use that money to grow more dreams across the fruited plains, to grow your confidence and presence and how you show up at the office, at meetings, seminars, parties, in the forests and along the mountaintops.
Stretch a vision, a mind, a life, a hankering for more, all the while, as you stretch your innate potential to enjoy it all, to relish it all, no matter how good it gets, how amazing the next moment is, the higher consciousness levels you achieve. Genuflect and appreciate and be supremely grateful for every next level, for the amazement happening, the portals opening, the future is bright, the past is tether-less, and the present is for undulating bliss, joy and openings to more and more.
Stretch of who you think you are, who you can see yourself becoming. Stretch the options of what is possible in this well-imagined life.Stretch you, your consciousness and you will stretch your vision. You will stretch what is attracted to you. For one of (if not the greatest) lessons to learn and use and realize is simply this: You do not attract to yourself what you want and desire; you attract to yourself who you are.
So it only makes sense: “Stretch who you are…” and stretch your options and let the fun begin. Let yourself dream a greater dream, achieve a greater purpose and stretch into more purpose and meaning in a life that is intentional, and anticipating a stretched and larger picture of coming attractions.
Stretch the mind and that perceived and conceived vision you desire will follow.
