Many moons ago, I called up a company that sold books on the internet, someone told me you could get the best prices, and I needed to buy about 100 of the Goals books by Brian Tracy for an event I was doing.
As the story goes, I picked up the phone and a very nice, very friendly, say distinguished man, answered. He talked with such confidence I asked, “Are you the owner?”
And he said, “Why yes I am. My assistant is out, and I just like to talk with the customers, and stay involved.”
I asked what his name was and he replied “Charlie, Charlie Jones.” And I said are you Charlie Tremendous Jones?”
And he said, “Yes I am.” And went on to explain how he loved books and had a non-profit where he gave away 25,000 books to children so they would have the love of reading.
Well, if you are not a personal development junkie like me, you may or may not know that Charlie Tremendous Jones just happened to be one of the greatest, most powerful, most influential public speakers of his time. He built a multi-multi-million dollar life insurance agency on three little words: DIN>>>DO It NOW!
DIN is on my whiteboard this week. It reminds me…what can I do right now to accomplish my dreams? What can I do now to create more revenues for my business? What can I do now to accelerate my desires, my dreams, my wishes, and get to them faster, with more speed, more élan, more charisma, more passion-loaded actions that will catapult my dreams, will inspire my little girl, who at the time of this writing just turned seven, and is filled with her own dreams, of houses she wants to build near little rivers, of horses she wants to have, and computers she wants in her little pink room.
There is nothing more important in a person’s life than their individualized dreams, getting excited about the fun things, the meaningful things, the trips, the cars, the nonprofits to create, the legacies to leave, the books to write, the influences one can have on this world, on people, to leave a mark, leave a prayer, hopes, inspiration, and jewels…ok, I really need to find more jewels.
This Saturday, I am going to make a dream board, a vision board with my little girl; and we will put up pictures of her horses, and houses and cruises and places and open up her imagination, well maybe open up mine, of what is truly possible in this life.
What about you? What is still possible in your life? What has been put on the backburner too long? Yesterday, a young girl we know, 19 years old was killed in a car accident. She has no more options in this life. Tragic and so very sad…yes. But we all still have these options right now, today, this very moment.
You can fly to Asia, take a yacht in the Mediterranean…in fact, I have a connection to a person who owns two yachts and will sail you from island to country all over those blue waters for a mere 600 Euros a week, includes two meals a day and the third meal, dinner, is on shore in Italy, Greece, where ever you choose to go.
Wow. Dust off those dreams. Do it now. Make it happen today. Work toward things that are scintillating in your soul. Take steps today in the direction of those dreams, where you want to go, what you want to do. What else is there to do, but to strive higher, reach higher, create faster, become more, realize more and have extreme fun doing and getting and dreaming.
Have you put your dreams on hold? How about one that you know you must do, and haven’t yet. Are you passionately pursuing life, your life, the perfection that awaits you every minute? And are you chasing the rabbit down the hole, into the magic, and thinking your way wealth and creating a health and wealth consciousness that you believe in, that is chasing you down as fast as you can dream it up?
Strive for more. DIN. Be the Charlie Tremendous Jones of your own life. Take massive action. Help a ton of people. Inspire yourself and everyone you meet to reach for the stars, to gather up the strength and courage to run after the wild goose, to begin to put in motion everything you have always wanted, and realize there are no fences in your head, there are no limitations holding you back if you believe and take massive action.
Just decide to clean off those dreams, to clarify and go for what you can see in the crystal clear vision of you own mind.
