If You Are Going to Settle for Something, Settle for Greatness!

Have you ever thought what you have conditioned your mind to accept a level of health? A level of wealth or not wealth? A business that seems to stay in neutral? A family that stays put? Comfort zones you cannot even see, that are lost in the mix of tasks and small efforts toward fading sunrises?

Settle for magnanimity, for inspired mornings that shed the snakeskin of slithering through another day. 

Settle for high-wire pay, and perspicacious days, for one single, powerful, creative idea that will change the course of life, of your life, of generations to come.

How small are your dreams? Can you not institute a new one, a huge one, a family tree where you break away from the stolid branches, the dire worlds of just getting by?

You only live once (possibly) so go for greatness, for inspired exuberance and enthusiasm that won’t quit, that is at least perfectly modulated by you, that is stolen from the night so you can light the way for your cataract eyes, your soon to realize.

Be the most powerful extension of your ancestors…so those coming after you have a ledger of, reams of, footnotes that you lived, and you are not forgotten in 50 years. 

Instead, you are remembered from the trust funds you left, the books you wrote, the businesses that you started and that are still thriving.

Why? Because you decided to take a shot, a chance, a romance with time, with the sublime, and you took that first step, began and did it today. 

You put a plan into action, massive action, did an infomercial on success, read a book and took it to heart, because it was written by Andrew Carnegie’s philosophies, because Ralph Waldo Emerson staved off the darkness with ideas and ideals and new concepts of how anyone can live with enthusiasm.  “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.” –Ralphonsio.

Become far reaching. Step away from the pack.  Become the sum of what you don’t know. Become a man in white, a lady of right, a trip to take, a peaceful lake in the middle of a lost and enchanted forest because you can, because you are willing to go beyond, dream beyond, and rise above the ordinary and mediocre days and last breath moments, pure and idyllic, that satiated one last breath that envelopes all the relatives watching you ascend.

Do not settle for what you did the day before.  Create a dream that will dream itself, that may take 100 years, that may take you and your family around the world, that can and will create residual income, that will connect you up with the powerful people, the stars, the sun and the moon, songs by John Lennon.

For you, today, right now, in this quiet moment, you decide not to settle anymore for the crumbs and leftovers of other geniuses and troubadours who are willing to stick their necks out, and live on the wings of eagles flying over your shack, your snail dreams.

For with a mere decision of mind, you are now flying high, becoming more, doing the things that you would not, could not, be done by those who have settled and become stale and stuck and brittle in the arms of a self-created destiny they cannot and have not even believed in…since childhood.

But not you. Sail away. Get on higher ground.  Become your amazing self that has waited in the wings too long. 

Settle for greatness.  “If you are going to doubt, doubt your limits.”  Limitless living is happening this day. Embrace it. Become it. Take action on it. Clarify it. Do it.
