Be Indispensible, Irreplaceable…the Force.

I sometimes I sleep in the basement as I need to get to sleep early because my six year old will not wind down and the dog replaces me in my own bed upstairs and it snores.

Do not let anyone or anything replace you.  Become so meaningful, so powerful, that you are not only needed, but are vital to your family, your business, your organizations, your country.

Do this will élan, passion, commitment and a superb dedication to serving and giving and excellence, whether people see it or not…you see, you make it your duty to serve and become someone who does so much that others are blinded by your light, your determination to grow—grow yourself, your world, your health, your wealth, your creativity, your solace, your peace, your wisdom in the living the right way in a world that is filled with ideas gone wrong, failing people who wash clothes in the Ganges, in the Milky River, the Mississippi, Utah, when a few coins away is a Laundromat, when you can sleep well, and give it your all, or worry about the nothing and kill your own desires with sleepless nights and a tired array of dismay as… “Fatigue makes cowards of us all,” said Frederick Nietzsche.

Become a force, a pinpointed moment that can penetrate the darkness and come out the other side with a smile, a scimitar in your mouth and slash marks on your legs from the underbrush and the discuss of men who sit around telling us all how it was done.  Be a playmaker, not a spectator.

What can you do today that you didn’t do yesterday to help, to inspire, to relate, to gait, to make a mark, to help a child, to feed a hungry man? What can you do to exceed, excel, and to go the extra mile in a world of detours and cul de sacs on the boulevard of almost getting there?

Be so concentrated and focused that results are in the plan, not just happenstance and coincidence in the land of perchance of hopes and prayers in the cathedral of dreams.

You become today, and the next day, and every day, indispensible…do more than you are paid to do…stay an extra hour, shine your shoes, press your clothes and add a smile to the face of a human who is catapulted to greatness, dedicated to making a difference in the boardroom, the coffee shop, the streets of a world that are jumping with new ideas…and men of muscle… and women of truth…and lands of be speckled dreams forming on your presence of being.

Doing and being are sisters in the family of humanity. The only brother you need is disciple…and a mind of hope and faith and wonder to offset all the blunder, to run in Spain, and chase the bulls, and eat in Italy, and drink beer in Germany, and watch trees grow in Norway. The oldest tree in the world is 9, 000 years old in Norway you might want to add to a brain filled with facts and fiction.

Be the force of good and wholesomeness and use every ounce of self disciple and wherewithal and persistence and love and grit in a mix of exuberance and excellence to create the worlds you wish to see.

You really do not have to wait for the government.  But you knew that from the last election.

It doesn’t matter, for you will win with the right mind and song and truth in your own heart.
